Our Pastor - Rev. Steve Petty

The first thing you notice about Steve is he is a large person, 6’6” tall and a full beard and mustache to go with it.

He brings 37 years of experience serving Methodist Churches in Southern California .  Steve has served churches in La Jolla, Julian, Ramona, La Mesa , San Clemente , Pasadena and is in his third year in Lompoc .

Steve is married to Linda and they have four children and three grandchildren.
He has always been active in communities where he serves and Lompoc is no different.

His Community Involvement includes:

- Pastor at First Church
- Columnist for the Lompoc Record
- President of the Lompoc Valley Master Chorale
- Chair of the Good Samaritan Lompoc Advisory Board
- Convener of the Lompoc Interfaith Alliance
- Chair of the Santa Barbara District Planning and Strategy Committee
- Member of the Lompoc Hospital Ethics Committee
- Member of the Santa Barbara County Ten Year Plan on Homelessness
- Little League Volunteer Umpire & Tournament Umpire

Steve enjoys gardening, and going to the movies with Linda.
